Well done to everyone that has quit. I smoked heavily for about 25 years and went cold turkey 6 months ago. I found that a change in routine helps tremendously and excuse the old addage ‘it’s mind over matter’. I have to admit that I don’t miss smoking, the smelly breath, hair and clothes have all gone and OK the waistline has expanded a bit (that can be controlled) you will actually taste food now. I have also found that my sense of smell is far more acute than it used to be and the smell of passive smoking repulses me.
My savings have improved too as a result of quitting – over the last 6 months I believe I have saved an average of £250 per month – hypothetical I know but imagine the amount I could have saved over 25 years.
Best of luck to everyone in the process of quitting the long term benefits are there for all to enjoy.
Remember………………………….Don’t quit quitting
