I have come on to this website as I am having a major wobble, trying to keep myself occupied and not go and buy some ciggys. I have been stopped smoking now for 1 week 2 days, I have been smoking for over 15 years (wow saying that makes me cringe) I Decided to stop because I was getting horrible pains in my chest and thought I was having a heart attack, also everyday my little boy tells me his only wish is for his mom to stop smoking….wish granted.
None of it is easy I am doing this cold turkey and feel I haven’t slept for a week. Reading that Water helps is right as I find I am sipping on water all day as long as I have a bottle with me I am fine (addicted to water now). The thought of my son growing up and not having me at his side is heartbreaking so this is my incentive. I feel so much better now I have written this down and am slowly getting over the craving I feel to go to the shop……I am not going!
Good luck everyone.
